Prof. Dr. Christian Rödl gives advice on legal and tax matters at the shareholder level, especially with regard to company succession, estate planning, corporate law and family contracts and the cross-border structuring of the corporate and private wealth of the family. In this field he is an author and publisher of numerous books and professional papers.
Prof. Dr. Rödl completed his law degree and practical training in Würzburg, Nuremberg, Caen (Normandy), Paris and New York. He firstly worked as a junior notary in Bavaria (Latin notary system). After that he took up service with a large American law firm. In 1999 he joined Rödl & Partner. Prof. Dr. Rödl is a member of numerous committees, supervisory boards and foundation boards. In the past he has served on the finance committee of the German Bundestag as an expert on legislative procedures in tax law.
Prof. Dr. Rödl is an honorary professor of the law and business school of the Friedrich-Alexander University in Erlangen-Nuremberg. He gives lectures on company succession and international tax planning.
An independent expert jury appointed by the WirtschaftsWoche magazine voted Prof. Dr. Rödl to be among the top 25 German experts for corporate tax law (see issue 47/2010).

Dr. Peter Bömelburg has many years of experience of auditing and consulting services for national and international company groups of German origin and managing of audit engagements. He is specialised in extensive consulting and auditing of owner-managed companies.

Dr. Bömelburg graduated and received his doctorate from Friedrich-Alexander University in Erlangen-Nuremberg and has been with Rödl &Partner since 1994.
Dr. Bömelburg is licensed as auditor for quality control and is a member of the examination committee for certified public auditors. Furthermore, he is a lecturer at the department of accounting and auditing at Friedrich-Alexander University in Erlangen-Nuremberg.

He is author of various professional papers for journals and books, particularly in the areas of due diligence and national and international financial accounting.

Dr. José A. Campos Nave has many years of experience in assisting German and international enterprises in their expansion at home and abroad. Especially in company mergers and expansions, clients rely on his legal and intercultural expertise.

Dr. Campos Nave studied at the Universities of Frankfurt and Mainz and obtained his PhD degree from the University of Münster. He was a founding partner of a boutique firm for commercial and tax law in Frankfurt. In 2004, he joined Rödl & Partner.

Dr. Campos Nave is a member of the Compliance Advisory Board and a lecturer at the Berlin University for Professional Studies. Dr. Marcus Felsner primarily gives support to multinational business organisations in the co-ordination of their international corporate development, with complex cross-border transactions and international investments. His clients include large family-owned companies and multinational groups. Many of the projects he supports are especially connected to Western Europe, the Americas, Africa and the Middle East.
After his education in Berlin, Passau, Milan and Geneva Dr. Felsner worked for a number of years for the Paris office of an international law firm. He advised major multinational corporate clients from France, the US, Japan and Germany, among others, in connection with European restructuring projects and acquisitions as well as international corporate law and employment law matters.
Dr. Felsner is President of Eastern Europe Business Association of Germany (Eastern Europe Business Association of Germany), Berlin/Hamburg, and a member of the board of the Arab-German Chamber of Commerce (Ghorfa), Berlin. He also serves on numerous other committees including the British Chamber of Commerce in Germany.
Dr. Felsner has published numerous books and professional papers on cross-border M&A transactions, on questions of international corporate law, international employment law, and strategic and business management questions relating to the internationalisation of business organisations. Wolfgang Kraus

Wolfgang Kraus is specialised in providing support for company groups with international operations in the context of the annual financial statement audit and audit of the consolidated financial statements. In addition, he is head of the department for transaction services and financial restructuring and is therefore the contact person for companies undergoing a process of change. Furthermore, Mr. Kraus is responsible for the co-ordination and development of Rödl & Partner activities in corporate and IT consulting. This also includes the professional individualisation of the cloud computing services offer for his clients.

After his business administration studies in Nuremberg he started his career at Rödl & Partner in 1982. From 1990 to 2000 he was responsible for the region of Upper Franconia and initiated the IT consulting department.

Mr. Kraus serves on a number of supervisory boards and committees of family-owned companies.

He is the author and publisher of numerous professional papers and studies.

Martin Wambach

Martin Wambach audits and advises companies with international operations and public enterprises with regard to the strategic development of the company, controlling, risk management, financing and internationalisation. His working areas also include public business administration and sustainability management.

Mr. Wambach completed his business administration studies in Bamberg during which he was also a working student at a large American auditing firm in Frankfurt and Nuremberg. After his studies he became assistant to the office head of this company. In 1992 he moved to Rödl & Partner.

He serves on the administrative board of the bank Sparkasse Köln-Bonn and is deputy chairman of the Institute of Management Accountants in Germany. Furthermore, he lectures regularly at universities.

Mr. Wambach has published numerous professional papers and books in the areas of due diligence, financing, controlling, risk management with financial assets and public business administration.

Dr. Hans Weggenmann is one of the leading tax law experts in Germany. He is engaged in highly complex tax consulting fields and manages numerous, mostly international, tax structuring projects. Well-known, internationally successful and often owner-managed companies and their owners appreciate not only the tax consultant, but also his assistance in tax audits and appeal proceedings.

Dr. Weggenmann commenced his professional career in 1987, working for various medium-sized and large tax consulting firms until he joined Rödl & Partner in 2003. His doctoral thesis, completed in 2002, received many awards and is today still regarded as a reference work on partnerships in the context of international tax law.

He has contributed to “Double Taxation: DTA” by Wassermeyer and “Partnerships in the context of international tax law” by Wassermeyer/Schnittker/Richter, and is an editor of an online commentary on transformation tax law. In addition, he has for many years now been a sought-after speaker by the NWB and Handelsblatt (Der Betrieb) publishing houses on the topics of international permanent establishments, partnerships and financing issues.
