Accounting service provider Competence joins Rödl & Partner
Last week two leading Estonian accounting services providers – Competence OÜ and Rödl & Partner OÜ – signed a merger agreement. The accountancy office of Competence, which has operated in the Estonian accounting services market successfully for more than 10 years, is merging with Rödl & Partner, the international consulting firm for accounting, auditing, legal and tax services, founded in Germany in 1977. Heidi Grenman, General Manager of Competence OÜ, was elected to the Management Board of Rödl & Partner OÜ and she will be responsible for company development, quality management and sales activities.
According to Heidi Grenman the merger will grant the clients of Competence OÜ access to a variety of specialist know-how of Rödl & Partner and enables to provide a better service to the clients. The support of an international network in the Baltics and worldwide adds significant additional value.
Mart Nõmper, the member of the Management Board and sworn auditor of Rödl & Partner, which is going to celebrate its 20th business anniversary in Estonia in 2013, is convinced that the merger will give Rödl & Partner the opportunity to develop new services and solutions for both the existing clients and the clients acquired by the merger with Competence OÜ as well as potential future clients. Both companies share similar values where customer-orientation, quality and employee satisfaction are of the central value in the work culture. This ensures that the merger process will go smoothly and the merger will create significant synergy.
Today more than 50 employees – auditors, accountants, tax consultants, attorneys-at-law, translators and support staff – work under the trademark of Rödl & Partner in Estonia. Rödl & Partner is represented in the Baltics and worldwide in 39 countries, the group employs over 3000 professionals.
