"Socially-friendly audit company 2014" – Rödl & Partner honoured by Rzeczpospolita
Rzeczpospolita has awarded the title of a socially-friendly audit company to Rödl & Partner for its corporate social responsibility activities in 2014. Only four audit companies in Poland have been so awarded for the last year. Rzeczpospolita has honoured Rödl & Partner this way for the second year in a row.
We at Rödl & Partner pay special attention not only to the quality of our services but also to how we affect the world we live in. In practice, this means activities for the benefit of local communities, charity support and sustainable internal policy of the company. – says Magdalena Ludwiczak, Auditor (Poland), Partner at Rödl & Partner in charge of audit in Poland.
Rödl & Partner is active globally and locally. We have been working with the Children's Villages foundation for several years. However, we were also keen on engaging at local level. That is why in 2014 we started working with the Promyk Słońca foundation giving them what we're best at – high quality audit services. – says Therese Baginski, Auditor (Poland), Partner at Rödl & Partner in charge of audit in Poland.
Rödl & Partner honoured with the title of a "parents-friendly company” (Polish: Firma Przyjazna Rodzicom).
The competition was organised within the "rodzina-i-kariera.infor.pl" project part-financed by the European Union. Its organisers were Next.pl Sp. z o.o. and Lechaa Consulting Sp. z o.o. which partnered to implement the "rodzina-i-kariera.infor.pl" project. The Ministry of Labour and Social Policy assumed the honorary patronage. The title, granted in the first stage of the competition, went only to those firms which helped their employees to combine professional career with their role as parents in the best possible way. For many years now, Rödl & Partner has aimed in its corporate social responsibility policy at being exactly such a firm. Therefore, we are all the more satisfied with another distinction in this area.
Rödl & Partner distinguished as "Pro-community audit firm 2013"
We have been present in Poland for over 20 years. We have tried to exert positive impact on our community from the very beginning. We at Rödl & Partner care not only about the financial performance but we also get involved in various charity and aid campaigns to support those in need.

Rödl & Partner distinguished with the Responsible Enterprise Certificate
The Responsible Enterprise Certificate (Certyfikat Odpowiedzialnego Przedsiębiorcy) was established to distinguish companies that consider such values as environmental protection, social responsibility and care for the future as important elements of their business. The purpose of the Certificate is to promote organisations that do not remain passive in the face of changes taking place around them and join in efforts to protect the natural environment. We are very pleased that our work towards promoting all aspects of social responsibility has been appreciated and distinguished in this way.

Liliane Preusser listed among 100 most influential people in the Polish outsourcing market
Ms Liliane Preusser, who is accountable for the development and operation of the financial and accounting outsourcing service line of Rödl & Partner in Poland, was listed among the 100 most influential persons in the Polish outsourcing market.
The list has been prepared as a part of an overview of five years’ presence of the specialist Outsourcing Magazine (OM) in the Polish market. The list includes personalities who, in the OM’s opinion, have most contributed to the growth of this sector and who, as Bartosz Wawryszuk (the magazine’s editor-in-chief) put it: "have persisted in providing reliable services to businesses”. When asked by the editorial staff what, in her opinion, has encouraged and what has hampered the development of outsourcing services in Poland over the past five years, Ms Preusser responded: The main factor that has contributed to the development of outsourcing services in Poland is the employment of well qualified people with European language skills. This cannot be offered by countries with lower labour costs and with English being the main language of services, such as India. In 2004, the accession of Poland to the EU further encouraged private investment, and, since the government’s decision of 2005, foreign companies have been able to set up their BPO centres in special economic zones. The obstacles, on the other hand, are legal restrictions, such as the obligation to keep documentation in a hard copy format, and a sluggish process of introducing e-signature. The reluctance of the managerial staff to give up full control over certain business areas also hinders the development of outsourcing services.
The list was published in Outsourcing Magazine (autumn 2009) .
