Being a founding member of the Gulf Co-operation Council, which also comprises  Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, the State of Qatar is becoming an increasingly attractive foreign investment destination in the region – and that interest was sparked long before it was announced that the 2022 FIFA World Cup would take place in Qatar.

In addition to customs and tax incentives, Qatar offers a still rare advantage in the region: foreign investors can, under certain conditions, incorporate wholly-owned subsidiaries in the country.

To further strengthen the diversified and liberal economy of this small desert country, a vast number of government projects is planned for the years to come, with project finance increasingly relying on foreign capital.

Our local and international expertise in the areas of accounting, audit, legal and tax consulting enables us to offer our clients comprehensive services from a single source – be it, for example, market entry in the region or the expansion of an existing business model.

In Qatar, we build on the close collaboration with our Partner Rödl Middle East. We manage our client’s engagements in the region from our office in Dubai (United Arab Emirates).
