Sustainable Supply Chain

Sustainable supply chains are no longer a “nice to have” but mandatory. Companies must protect human rights, exclude child and forced labor, comply with environmental standards – and reliably fulfill their due diligence obligations. At the same time, expectations for transparency, traceability, and effective risk management systems are growing. Our team of experts helps you generate real added value from these requirements.

Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive – CSDDD

The EU Corporate Sustainability due diligence Directive (CSDDD) makes due diligence obligations along global value chains binding – with clear requirements for risk analyses, prevention measures, and reporting. Human rights and the environment are particularly in focus: companies must identify and effectively address risks such as child labor, forced labor, or environmental damage. We translate complex requirements into manageable processes, set up practical systems, and support legally compliant implementation – scalable also for Mittelstand companies.

Supply Chain Act – LkSG

The Supply Chain due diligence Act (LkSG) is undergoing changes, and its reporting obligations are to be dropped. However, it remains relevant until the full implementation of the CSDDD. Companies are still required to identify and manage human rights risks. We provide support during this transitional phase with risk analyses, prevention strategies, and practical processes that can be seamlessly transferred to future EU regulations.

EU Deforestation Regulation – EUDR

Regulation (EU) 2023/1115 on deforestation-free supply chains (EUDR) obliges companies to verify the deforestation-free status of the import and trade of certain raw materials and products. Affected products include wood, soy, coffee, cocoa, and rubber. We develop strategies for legally compliant implementation, integrate requirements into your compliance structures, and ensure traceable documentation. In this way, environmental and climate protection become integral components of your supply chain management.

Supplier Assessment & Human Rights Due Diligence

A sustainable supply chain begins with its partners. We support companies in conducting Supplier due diligence worldwide, identifying risks such as child or forced labor, and revising codes and contractual relationships. Furthermore, we assist in establishing Human Rights due diligence processes – for example, through risk analyses, the conception of grievance mechanisms, or the development of effective prevention measures. In this way, we create the foundation for verifiable, resilient supply chains and strengthen responsibility and resilience.
