Our understanding of compliance

Ethical behavior and adherence to the “Global Code of Conduct” (code of conduct) as well as internal company guidelines and regulations are the cornerstones of our actions and are lived accordingly.

We understand compliance as an instrument of risk management. We establish comprehensive protection and monitoring mechanisms to identify and prevent compliance violations at an early stage. In this way, we create trust – among our employees, clients and other stakeholders.

Our principles and compliance guidelines are promoted, monitored and enforced by an effective Compliance Management System (CMS). We are continuously improving and developing the structures, processes and measures so that we always meet all legal, regulatory and ethical standards at the highest level.

Global Code of Conduct. Worldwide. Groundbreaking.

The “Global Code of Conduct” is our guide for entrepreneurial action. It applies in all countries, in all teams and at all levels. The management, partners and all employees at Rödl orient themselves to these principles in their daily activities.

We act with integrity, openly, fairly and with respect. One firm, one standard.

Our Global Code of Conduct

Our ambition: not just to advise, but to lead the way

These values apply not only to ourselves, but also to our business partners. With our Global Third Party Code of Conduct, we define clear standards for ethical behavior, social responsibility and environmental awareness. Find out which principles we want to live together with our suppliers, from respect for human rights to fair working conditions and sustainable management, in order to ensure trusting and future-oriented cooperation.

Our Global Third Party Code of Conduct

Creating trust and transparency – with secure reporting channels

As part of responsible corporate governance, we provide secure reporting channels for all employees and external stakeholders to ensure transparency and protection. Information on potential grievances or violations will be treated confidentially and can also be submitted anonymously if desired.

Reporting channel for whistleblowers

Strengthen integrity. Prevent misconduct.

Misconduct can cause significant and lasting damage – for Rödl and our stakeholders. We see it as our duty to prevent any form of illegal behavior within our sphere of influence. This also includes violations of ethical principles, internal company guidelines and regulations. The reporting channel is essential to give people who are professionally related to Rödl the opportunity to submit information.

For example, the following can be reported:

  • Violations of criminal law (breach of trust, fraud, tax evasion, corruption, money laundering, theft)
  • Fineable offenses that serve to protect life, limb and health (e.g. working hours, minimum wage)
  • Violations of the Code of Conduct (Global Code of Conduct) or existing company guidelines
  • Cases of discrimination, harassment, bullying or insult

Contact us. Simple. Confidential. Secure.

You have the option of submitting information on potential violations by telephone or in electronic form via the whistleblower reporting channel. Messages via this channel can also be submitted anonymously if desired.

You can reach us by phone from Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on +49 911 9193 6007.

All incoming information will be treated by us with strict confidentiality. We ensure the protection of the identity of the whistleblower, the persons who are the subject of the report and other persons mentioned in the report.

Rödl does not accept any disadvantages for whistleblowers and all persons who are involved in the analysis and processing of information.

Please only report information that you are convinced is correct in terms of content and facts. False accusations or knowing misinformation must not be submitted.

Reporting channel for human rights and environmental protection

Take responsibility. Pave the way.

We are committed to respecting human rights and protecting the environment along our supply chains. The human rights affected include, for example, the prohibition of child and forced labor, the right to health and safe working conditions, protection against discrimination and harassment, equal opportunities, diversity and inclusion. Environmental protection includes, among other things, the prohibition of manufacturing or using certain health-endangering products.

Your feedback helps us to continuously review our processes and optimize them in a targeted manner.
