Nuremberg, January 29, 2025: Rödl advised the JRS Group on the acquisition of naturheld GmbH from the insolvent Ziegler Group.
A Rödl transaction team led by Partner Cyril Prengel supported the JRS Group with Financial Due Diligence and tax-related matters.
With the acquisition of naturheld by the JRS Group, the first investor solution for the insolvent Ziegler Group has been found. The JRS Group has announced that it will retain both the production site in Grafenwöhr/Hütten and all approximately 130 jobs.
naturheld will continue to operate independently in the market and will trade under the name “naturheld GmbH & Co. KG.” The business transfer is scheduled to take place by mid-March. Until then, production will continue without interruption. The transaction is still subject to certain formal conditions, particularly approval by the Federal Cartel Office.
