Eschborn, March 14, 2025: Rödl provided the family-owned Mewa Group, a textile service provider operating across Europe, with comprehensive financial, legal, and tax advice regarding the acquisition of Bocholter Weberei-Vorwerk Siemen GmbH & Co. KG (Siemen). Siemen, a specialist in yarn finishing with production facilities in Germany, will largely continue to operate in its current form.
As part of this transaction, Mewa was advised by an interdisciplinary team from Rödl specializing in corporate transactions, led by Partner Felix Markowsky, who was also responsible for the Financial Due Diligence. Tax advice was provided by Partner Florian Kaiser’s team, while the team led by Partner Thomas Fräbel is conducting the legal due diligence.
The integration of Siemen into the Mewa Group is the result of many years of successful cooperation between the two companies. Siemen has been a supplier to Mewa for many years, particularly in the field of textile cleaning cloths for industrial cleaning and machine maintenance.

With around 40 employees, production continues at the founding site in Bocholt, North Rhine-Westphalia. The company is managed by the second generation and achieved a turnover of approximately 8 million euros in 2024.
