Eschborn, June 5, 2025: Rödl comprehensively advised the Etops Group ("Etops") – a provider specializing in SaaS solutions for wealth and asset management – on the acquisition of FinanzPortal24 GmbH.

FinanzPortal24 GmbH is one of the leading providers of financial planning software and digital solutions for financial advisors in Germany. Rödl advised on all financial, tax, and legal aspects of the transaction, including contract drafting. Confidentiality was agreed upon regarding the purchase price.

Etops was advised by an interdisciplinary Rödl team specializing in private equity transactions: Partner Felix Markowsky led the Financial Due Diligence and also took overall project responsibility. Partner Florian Kaiser was responsible for tax advice, while Partner Thomas Fräbel conducted the Legal Due Diligence and supported the contract negotiations.

With the acquisition of FinanzPortal24, the Etops Group strengthens its portfolio in digital financial advisory and specifically expands its service offering along the entire value chain – from financial planning and asset management to reporting. FinanzPortal24 will remain independently active in the market with its team at the Burbach and Marburg locations and will benefit in the future from access to new markets, technological resources, and the Etops network.
