Nuremberg, 18 June 2026: The international professional services firm RÖDL successfully continued its growth trajectory in the 2025 financial year. Global total revenue increased to EUR 785.3 million, while revenue in Germany reached EUR 442.6 million.

Performance was strong across all service lines, driven by sustained demand for interdisciplinary advisory services in an increasingly complex geopolitical, technological, and regulatory environment. The firm’s international expansion through its own offices is becoming an increasingly strategic lever for sustainable growth and the safeguarding of business models.

With more than 6,000 employees across 117 own offices in 50 countries, RÖDL delivers integrated, interdisciplinary services worldwide, spanning Legal Advisory, Tax Consulting, Audit & Assurance, Advisory & IT and Business Process Outsourcing.

Strong results across all service lines and countries

All service lines developed positively in 2025. In Germany, key drivers included M&A tax, tax structuring, legal advisory, particularly in corporate, M&A and employment law, along with audit & assurance, business recovery services (restructuring advisory), transaction services and valuation services. Further significant contributions came from capital markets advisory, energy and public services, healthcare/NPO and global mobility services.

Internationally, tax consulting as well as audit & assurance posted significant gains, driven by a growing number of cross-border mandates from German companies. The top-performing regions included North America, Latin America, Western Europe, Northern Europe as well as Poland, the Czech Republic and Turkey.

Despite a generally more cautious global investment environment, transaction services (M&A) remained an important pillar. Geopolitical uncertainty and economic tensions weighed on the market; however, demand for end-to-end M&A services remained high, covering all phases of transactions, including financial, legal, tax, IT, sustainability and post-merger integration. In total, RÖDL supported 439 transactions worldwide in 2025, an increase of approximately 21% compared to the previous year.

„Today, growth is no longer driven by isolated measures, but by the ability to manage complexity and execute business decisions holistically. Our strength lies in our global presence with our own offices, our interdisciplinary expertise and the technological capabilities we seamlessly bring together. This enables us to guide our clients with clarity and confidence through an increasingly fragmented and geopolitically complex global economy,” says Prof. Dr. Christian Rödl, CEO and Chairman of the Management Board of RÖDL.

On this basis, RÖDL further strengthened its organic development, secured additional major mandates and expanded its market position. With its new brand identity introduced in December 2025, which underscores the firm’s international orientation and ambition, RÖDL is also sending a clear signal about its role as a global trusted partner and trailblazer for sustainable growth.

From regulation to resilience: integrated digital and regulatory advisory

Technological change, rising complexity and increasing pressure to scale have driven growing demand for integrated, forward-looking digital solutions.

„Digital transformation has long become a key competitive factor for our clients. We are therefore making targeted investments in expanding our own technological capabilities, as well as in partnerships and strategic stakes in the fields of digitalization, artificial intelligence and automation. By building our own AI and cloud infrastructure, we are creating the foundation to deliver digital solutions independently, securely and in full compliance with professional and data protection requirements,” says Felix Madeja, Managing Partner, CFO and responsible for digital transformation at RÖDL.

At the same time, companies worldwide are facing increasingly stringent regulatory frameworks. Demand for regulatory advisory services has remained correspondingly high, particularly in combination with digital solutions that enhance transparency, structure, and efficiency. Clients benefit from the close integration of advisory expertise and technological implementation.

Outlook: Paving the way in a shifting global environment

RÖDL expects market conditions to remain challenging in the coming year. A growing number of business successions, combined with ongoing restructuring pressure across industries, will further increase demand for advisory services. At the same time, the international expansion of German companies is gaining renewed attention: investments in foreign markets not only unlock growth potential but also help diversify supply chains and secure long-term competitiveness. Global developments, such as free trade agreements with MERCOSUR countries or India, are opening up new opportunities for internationally active companies.
