Rödl Expands to Boston: 11th Office in the USA, 117 Own Locations Worldwide
“The opening of the new office in Boston, the 117th own location worldwide in 50 countries, underscores Rödl’s commitment to personal and professionally excellent advice – close to clients and close to the markets,” says Prof. Dr. Christian Rödl, Chairman of the Management Board.
“The expansion into Boston is another consistent step in our continuous development in the USA,” emphasizes Martin Wambach, the Managing Partner responsible for the USA. “Since starting with our US headquarters in Atlanta in 2001 and strategically expanding into relevant regions such as New York (2013) and Chicago (2008), we have successively built up our presence, always with the aim of supporting German-speaking companies with sound expertise and a deep understanding of the requirements of the US market.”
“Boston is not without reason called the most European city in the United States,” explains Nico Swart, Partner and Head of US Operations. “Numerous direct flights to Germany and other European metropolises make the city the geographically closest US hub to Europe and a preferred gateway for cross-border business relationships. Its diverse economy with an international character offers ideal conditions for our clients from the DACH region.”
The new location will be managed by Rick Kasnick, Partner and responsible for the Northeast USA. On-site operational support is provided by Boston-based German-speaking Partner Dieter Berger. His experienced team supports companies with comprehensive expertise in tax consulting and auditing. The offering is complemented by over 400 colleagues in ten other US offices, who contribute in-depth know-how in areas such as Sales & Use Tax, transfer pricing, and transaction advisory. The offering is specifically aimed at companies in sectors such as manufacturing, biotechnology, aerospace, defense, and engineering services.
“At Rödl, tailor-made services for German-speaking companies are at the core,” says Berger. “We look forward to personally assisting our clients in Boston as well.”
Rödl also maintains long-standing cooperations with the German-American Chamber of Commerce (GACC) and the German American Business Council (GABC), which actively promote transatlantic exchange.
