RÖDL strengthens leadership and advisory: Christian Landgraf expands service line “Advisory & IT”
Client and market proximity remains central
“The further development of our service lines and the expansion of the management team are a clear signal for our course: close to the client and the markets, more interdisciplinary solutions and digital competence. Our goal is to optimally support companies in an increasingly complex world as a trusted partner and trailblazer – locally and globally,” emphasizes Prof. Dr. Christian Rödl, Chairman of the Management Board.
End-to-end solutions for multifaceted challenges
Advisory and Corporate Finance services from auditing have been merged with “Management and IT Consulting” to form the “Advisory & IT” service line. The “Advisory & IT” service line combines expertise from Capital Markets & Accounting Advisory, ESG, Governance, Risk & Compliance, Corporate Finance, IT Solutions and Managed IT Services.
“As an advisor to the modern CFO, RÖDL shapes the ‘House of Finance’ and acts as an integrated transaction partner. The added value lies in the combination of professional expertise, technological competence and strategic vision,” says Christian Landgraf.
Instead of individual, separate service modules, RÖDL relies on project-related, interdisciplinary solutions. The five service lines Legal Advisory, Tax Consulting, Audit & Assurance, Advisory & IT and Business Process Outsourcing interlock seamlessly. In particular, together with Tax Strategy & Compliance, an integrated consulting environment is created for CFOs, including comprehensive tax advice – from declaration to international tax planning to the targeted integration of tax aspects in M&A and transformation processes.
In addition, RÖDL guarantees its clients’ data sovereignty via its own RÖDL Private Cloud. In this way, the firm supports CFOs in a demanding and high-risk environment – from strategic, data-based decisions on transactions and transformation to secure operational business.
The “Advisory IT” service line comprises a structured service portfolio with the following key areas:
- Strategy, Transactions Value Creation – M&A Advisory, Transaction, Valuation and Business Recovery Services for decisions along the entire deal and transformation cycle – from structuring to successful integration
- Performance Reporting Excellence – integrated, efficient and audit-proof accounting and reporting structures for more data-based decisions and sustainable success
- Digital Finance Process Transformation – customized, scalable transformation of the finance function with optimized, digitized processes and scalable, integrated and secure IT architecture
- Governance, Risk, Compliance Security – consistent integration of risks, regulations and cybersecurity into governance and control models
- Sustainable Intelligent Transformation – Integration of ESG and AI into the financial control logic via smart cloud and platform solutions
With this realignment, RÖDL underscores its ambition to accompany companies worldwide as a trusted partner in transformation and growth. The integrated approach supports CFOs in increasing performance, managing risks responsibly and enabling sustainable growth.
Longstanding expertise for digital and financial excellence
Christian Landgraf, Auditor (Germany), CPA (U.S.), has been with RÖDL for over two decades and most recently headed the Capital Markets Accounting Advisory Services and the Capital Markets Group in Germany. He specializes in advising and auditing listed companies and in optimizing and digitizing financial reporting, especially in the context of PMI or capital market transactions. “Christian Landgraf brings extensive experience in demanding capital market and digitalization topics. I am very much looking forward to working with him in the global Management Board. As head of the Advisory IT service line, he will play a key role in driving the further development of our services portfolio,” explains Rödl.
