On 15 July 2026, Thailand’s Cabinet approved the end of its 60-day visa-free entry scheme for 93 nationalities.

Each country or territory will be assigned to one of the three categories only: 30-day Visa Exemption, 15-day Visa Exemption, or Visa on Arrival. most eligible countries will revert to a 30-day limit.
The Visa on Arrival program will be reduced from 31 to 4 eligible countries. The measures are to take effect 15 days after publication.
