Dispute Resolution
Our Philosophy
Managing and resolving disputes requires specific skills – legal, strategic, and interpersonal. As a trailblazer, we are rethinking dispute resolution. Traditionally, dispute resolution is understood as a reactive service – a tool that is used when the conflict is already underway.
We start earlier. We combine classic litigation with preventive conflict avoidance and legal thinking with economic foresight. Because conflicts today are increasingly no longer one-dimensional, the ability to synchronize across different procedural rules is also in demand. We manage such multi-track litigation across disciplines, proactively, and with a clear management structure.
Our Approach
We understand dispute resolution as a leadership discipline. For us, litigation does not mean accompanying proceedings, but leading them. We actively shape the conflict architecture, manage risks, and ensure entrepreneurial freedom of action.
Our Arbitration & Complex Litigation practice group works across disciplines and locations. It combines the experience of specialized litigation lawyers with economic and forensic understanding. We work hand in hand with our colleagues from our other practice groups.
We bundle interdisciplinary case teams under clear leadership – precise in the matter, determined in the strategy, clear in the communication. The project approach and the resolution of the conflict are in focus.
Our Strengths
- Complex Litigation: We conduct complex commercial law disputes with foresight and procedural discipline.
- International presence: Where it makes sense, we integrate colleagues from Rödl’s own worldwide offices into the respective teams – whether in proceedings abroad or when applying foreign law in Germany.
- Economic competence: Like our clients, our lawyers think entrepreneurially. We combine dispute strategy with sound business sense.
- Team structure: With us, experienced litigation lawyers lead – flanked by specialists in the relevant fields of law.
- Conflict culture: We know that it is easier to argue than to agree. That is why we take conflict culture and mediation seriously.

Our Goal
Fast, sustainable, and strategically smart solutions.
