Sustainability is not a regional project for us, but a global attitude. In over 50 countries, we work according to our economic, ecological and social standards – inspired by the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Environment
Our actions affect the environment. We are setting clear signals for a respectful and responsible approach to nature.
We are continuously working to reduce our ecological footprint and pave sustainable paths for the future. Since 2019, we have been recording our greenhouse gas emissions according to the standards of the Greenhouse Gas Protocol – as a transparent basis for targeted measures. We are actively shaping the ecological transformation. We are reducing our consumption of resources and specifically increasing our efficiency.
Our measures
Renewable energies
We focus on renewable energies – locally and for the future.
At almost all German locations, we purchase certified green electricity and thus actively reduce our CO₂ emissions. We specifically sensitize our employees worldwide to climate-friendly behavior in their everyday work.
Sustainable mobility
We make mobility climate-friendly and efficient. Our mobility concept specifically promotes the use of public transport for local and long-distance travel. With our company bike leasing program, we also offer our employees an emission-free way to get to work.
Our travel policy also sets clear standards. Business trips are carried out in a climate-conscious manner, with the aim of significantly reducing CO₂ emissions. We are electrifying our company fleet step by step. And at the same time, we are expanding the charging infrastructure – for a measurable relief of the environment.
Resource-saving work
Digital tools connect us worldwide, efficiently and in a way that saves resources. Less paper, less travel – more impact. And yet: The personal exchange with our clients remains indispensable for us.
Modern technology forms the basis for sustainable action. But what is decisive is how we use it in everyday life – from the light switch to e-mail. Every step counts. That is why we regularly strengthen our teams’ awareness of sustainable action in both small and large matters.
The circular economy is also a lived practice for us. Smartphones, laptops and printers are not disposed of, but returned via leasing contracts or passed on to partners. For longer use and less waste.
Social
People are at the center of our attention – as trusted partners and trailblazers. We communicate directly, act respectfully and promote cooperation as equals. Relationships are not an end in themselves for us – they should have an impact, grow and be sustainable in the long term. In doing so, we take responsibility beyond the company’s borders.
