Rödl & Partner is present in Mexico City with an own office since 2011. Our team of experienced German and Mexican auditors, lawyers and tax consultants provides interdisciplinary advice in several languages to companies from German-speaking countries operating throughout Mexico.

Our services include e.g. the establishment of and ongoing consulting for subsidiaries, offices, joint ventures and representative offices. Additionally, our legal experts assist in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), including conducting legal due diligence. Our portfolio in Mexico City also includes optimisation of distribution channel structures and restructuring measures, representation before Mexican courts and authorities, debt collection measures as well as mediation and arbitration. Rödl & Partner provides complex consulting services in all aspects of compliance (Anti-Money Laundering Act, personal data protection, anti-corruption laws and many more) and in the renewable energies sector.

Besides the support in all audit, legal and tax related issues, we additionally offer various other services to our clients. They include e.g. the preparation of annual financial statements, interim financial statements (interim reporting) and reporting packages pursuant to Mexican law, HGB, IFRS and US-GAAP. Financial and payroll accounting and external controlling of subsidiaries round off our offer. Last but not least, we advise interested companies on the planning and implementation of foreign investments, conduct transfer pricing studies and answer questions on free trade agreements (NAFTA, MEUFTA) as well as economic assistance programmes (IMMEX, PROSEC). In this process, we support them in selecting the investment location, obtaining subsidies and preparing integrated finance and business plans.
