United Arab Emirates

Over the recent years, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have become – in spite of the international financial crisis – the most dynamic economic centre in the Middle East and have already surpassed Saudi Arabia as Germany's most important foreign trading partner in the Arab world.

Its political stability, a diversified economy and excellent infrastructure make the UAE an ideal foreign investment destination also in times of economic and political unease. The UAE’s liberal economic policy is expected to further stabilise the national economy also in the wake of dropping crude oil exports.

Within the federation, the Emirate of Dubai developed early into an international trade hub in the region and one of the most important financial centres in the Arab world. With its diverse free trade zones, unrivalled in the region, Dubai is an attractive destination for foreign investors.

The Emirate of Abu Dhabi is not only the largest emirate by area but also the seat of the UAE's government. It is thus the right location for all investment projects in the public services sector. With the aim of developing the real estate and tourism sectors, the liberal commercial policy of the Emirate provides investment incentive for foreign companies.

We manage our client’s engagements in the region from our office in Dubai, in close collaboration with our longstanding and experienced local partners.
