Warsaw/Nuremberg/Munich, 2.6.2025: Rödl & Partner has comprehensively advised Colian Holding ("Colian", a leading Polish confectionery company) on the acquisition of Gubor Schokoladen GmbH, a renowned German chocolate manufacturer. This landmark transaction is the first case in which a Polish investor acquires a large German company in the food industry and underlines the dynamic international expansion of Polish companies.
Rödl & Partner's interdisciplinary team, consisting of experts from Poland and Germany, provided comprehensive due diligence advice, including financial analysis, tax audit and legal risk assessment. The close cooperation across national borders enabled a thorough assessment of potential risks and opportunities as well as a smooth and efficient transaction process.
