Sustainability & Building

Opportunities and challenges for our clients

The topic of sustainability is also becoming increasingly important in the construction industry. In particular, renewable energy sources for the supply of electricity and heat to buildings are becoming increasingly important. Also, and especially for public buildings.

This is not least due to the fact that the federal and state governments grant subsidies for certain (e.g., heating) projects. As a rule, the first step is to work out conceivable alternatives in order to establish a decision-making basis for subsequent implementation. To this end, engineering firms are initially commissioned to carry out feasibility studies.

As part of the realisation of the planned measure, the most suitable concept for the respective client must then be selected, such as contracting models, own responsibility extensions, etc.

As the funding programs and the associated funding regulations change regularly, it is important to keep an eye on current developments at all times.
