Thailand extended the reduction of VAT. While the statutory rate remains at 10 percent, Thailand will continue to apply the reduced rate of 7 percent until 30 September 2023.
In February 2021, an amended Revenue Code was published in the Royal Gazette, stipulating VAT on electronic services rendered to a customer in Thailand. The provision will enter into force on 1 September 2021.
