Rödl & Partner advises co-investor in multi-million seed extension funding round of OQmented

Stuttgart, 2 December 2021: Rödl & Partner advised the renowned tech entrepreneur Jinhua Shen on the conclusion of a 9.3 million US dollar seed extension financing round for the start-up OQmented GmbH. New investors of this financing round are IT-Farm, Leblon Capital and Deeptech-A. The investment was led by Vsquared, a venture capital company based in Munich. In addition to tech investor Jinhua Shen, the group of investors also included Salvia, Baltic Business Angels and several Angel investors.
 

OQmented has already concluded R&D contracts with international tech companies and is currently building top-class partnerships. The new investment funds will be invested in the expansion of the business, accelerating the R&D activities and establishing cooperation with new partners.
 

Partner Jiawei Wang from Stuttgart was responsible for the overall project lead. He was supported by Associate Partner Claudia Geercken, Associate Qinglu Shao and Associate Lara Kiefer.
